What an amazing thing it is to meet the kids for lunch in the middle of Costa Rica and exchange stories of what we did that morning. They'd tell us about caiman and crocodiles and we'd describe to them our hike down to a waterfall."

Traveling with toddlers in Costa Rica turned heads!
My favorite memory: Jenny leaping out of our 18 person van with potty chair and towel paper, followed quickly by toddler Geneva and Ruurd jumping out last to hold a large umbrella over the “event” as Ticos smiled from a nearby covered bus stop.”

In November we traveled (with kids) to Costa Rica! It was fabulous! Kathryn (3) learned some Spanish and David and I were able to do outings on our own or with other adults as childcare was provided! I liked the individual attention given to kids: toy bags for bus ride; portable potty.
