It was a great trip. Dauren was fantastic. We loved our time with him – just made everything easy. His car was great and he struck the perfect balance of touring talks with quiet time. Also LOVE Santa Elena and Monteverde.

We had a fabulous time! Travel to and from home was smooth. Dauren is the best!!! When we ate dinner the last night before our flight back home, we discussed our top three experiences – Dauren was in there with Zip Line and Horseback Riding. He made the trip!!! We had such a great, and exhausting, trip that we spent the weekend recovering and sleeping 🙂
Highlights:
Senda Monteverde: staff was incredible, accommodations were great, food was really reasonable, wildlife on the premises (coati, armadillo, aguti)
Arenal Springs Resort: we loved the pools and the accommodations, great that they had a playground too!

Thanks- we had a great time in Costa Rica. We loved the mix of adventure in the rainforest and relaxation by the beach.
Dauren, our guide, was terrific. He was extremely good at spotting animals on out hikes, knew everything that we wanted to know about the country and was very attentive and good at sensing our needs, preferences etc.
Our highlights were the hikes on the hanging bridges, the night hike, los Laureles hot springs (fantastic!) and of course relaxing at the pool and the beach with our kids. It’s really difficult to point anything out in particular. We
